Service Learning and Cultural Immersion Coordinator

The Service Learning Coordinator at Escola Concept oversees and manages service learning programs in all the Escola Concept schools. The program combines educational experiences that combine service to the community with academic instruction and reflection.

In addition to leading the full-service learning program, this person will also be responsible for coordinating and organizing all school trips, including field trips.

The coordinator is based in São Paulo and works with educators, learners, and community organizations to design and implement service projects and trips that align with the school's curriculum and meet the needs of the community.of the community.

• Develop and inspire a service learning mindset in the escola Concept community.
• Develop and implement service learning programs and initiatives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, such as community organizations, funders, and government agencies, to support and advance service learning initiatives.
• Develop educators on how to incorporate service learning into their lessons.
• Assist learners with identifying and completing service projects.
• Evaluate the impact of service learning programs on learners and the community.
• Promote service learning opportunities to learners, educators, and the community.
• Develop a strategic plan for service learning programs that aligns with the mission and goals of the organization.
• Manage budgets and resources to support service learning programs.
• Assess the impact of service learning programs on learners and the community.
• Develop and implement evaluation and assessment methods for service learning programs.

• English.
• Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• NGO experience preferred.
